Tikkunist
A downloadable meddler
Innumerable singers shriek the world-dirge. Sometimes one figures out how to read its notes, or even how to change them. Too rarely do they learn to stop. The Tikkunist tries, but it’s hard to deny a dying plea.
The Tikkunist is an Archetype for Alfred Valley's Lay On Hands, based loosely on Ashkenazi Jewish folklore and broader Jewish mysticism. It emerged from thoughts about the recent High Holiday period, this excerpt (video link) from Elie Wiesel's The Golem, and my dislike for the concept of superheroes. I created it for the #LayOnHandsJam. Go check out the great submissions (and consider making one yourself).
In terms of content warnings: be aware that this work mentions blood, organ damage, and limb loss.
For mobile-first users and those in need of greater accessibility, I included a no-frills HTML file that should open on any device, read easily, and work with any screen-reader you care to use. Please let me know if it needs any tweaks.
Regarding licensing, this project uses content from the Lay On Hands SRD, and those elements are covered by the SRD's license. Feel free to do anything you want with original content not covered by the license. Don't be a bigot. Thank you.
